About Project
Datalogiq 360, a renowned data and AI governance consultancy, aimed to replace its inefficient, Excel-based data and AI certification processes with an automated, scalable SaaS solution. The project focused on enhancing operational efficiency, providing seamless user experiences, and enabling scalable growth. A key feature of the platform was its use of AI capabilities to streamline data and AI governance workflows and improve decision-making processes. CoComply offers a structured evaluation model that identifies and certifies valuable data assets and AI capabilities, empowering clients to drive innovation, revenue growth, and navigate regulatory complexities with confidence and integrity.
The Challenge
Datalogiq 360 faced significant challenges in transitioning from their legacy Excel-based workflows to an advanced SaaS platform. These included:
- Overhauling a poorly constructed backend from a previous development agency.
- Meeting the need for the application to be self-hosted using a Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Enabling on-premise deployment to meet the specific requirements of one of Datalogiq 360’s key clients.
The Solution
We began with an audit of the existing backend, identifying significant structural issues that hindered scalability and reliability. Based on our findings, we completely reengineered the backend using Node.js, ensuring it met the project’s performance and scalability requirements. To accelerate frontend development without compromising quality, we selected WeWeb, a low-code platform that enabled us to create a responsive, user-friendly interface quickly.
For infrastructure, we designed and implemented a Kubernetes-based system to enable self-hosted deployments. ensuring the platform could adapt to different hosting environments.
