The Journey
Fieldwire’s journey began with a focus on the most critical part of any project: the field. The founders recognized that while project managers had plenty of tools, the people actually doing the work lacked a mobile-first solution for task coordination. They built Fieldwire to be the most efficient way to manage tasks, view blue-prints, and report progress directly from a mobile device.
The company’s story is one of operational efficiency and "field-first" engineering. By simplifying the way workers receive and report information, Fieldwire reduces the need for rework and ensures that everyone is on the same page. Now part of the Hilti Group, it continues to serve as a vital link between the trailer and the field for contractors of all sizes.
Specialty contractors often use Fieldwire to handle granular on-site tasks while relying on Procore for high-level compliance or STACK for pre-construction takeoffs.
